Shameless Self-Promotion: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2013)

This is to certify that the Secretary of the Navy has awarded the

NAVY AND MARINE CORPS ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL

Sergeant Molly A. Howe, United States Marine Corps

for

Professional achievement as Career Planner, Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, from October 2011 to January 2013. Sergeant Howe was the driving force behind the command’s 100 percent success rate in first and subsequent term reenlistments during fiscal year 2012. Her unparalleled proficiency and ability to manage the Career Planner program led to the reenlistment of 122 Marines, which far exceeded the retention goals of the Squadron. She conducted over 800 interviews, processed over 80 extensions, and screened over 80 special duty assignments. Due to her meticulous attention to detail, she was hand selected to represent the 3d Marine Aircraft Wing as the San Diego Navy League’s Junior Enlisted Woman of the Year, and the 2012 Women Marines Association Convention. Sergeant Howe’s exceptional professionalism, unrelenting perseverance, and loyal devotion to duty reflected credit upon her [and] were in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
