for

Professional achievement in the superior performance of her duties while serving as the Noncommissioned Officer In Charge, Separations Section, Headquarters Battalion, Consolidated Personnel Administration Center, 1st Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, CA from 15 April 2006 to 15 February 2008. During this period, Sergeant Howe’s initiative and dedication in the management of over 910 administrative separations, end of service separations, and retirement packages directly attributed to the superb support provided by the Consolidated Personnel Administration Center. She consistently demonstrated technical proficiency beyond her grade and tenure. Utilizing a systematic separation’s checklist audit process, she ensured that all transactions affecting travel pay entitlements and personnel information were accomplished in a timely manner. Her supervision of operations and functions within her section significantly improved the section’s administrative mission and provided a key asset to the functionality of the CPAC. Sergeant Howe’s initiative, professionalism, and total devotion to duty reflected credit upon her and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the Marine Corps and the United States Naval Service.
